New numbers show colorectal cancer cases are down among patients 50 and older. But the news isn’t so good for those under the age of 50, those numbers are on the rise. Dr. Steven Schechter of Brown Surgical Associates spoke to WJAR’s Barbara Morse about the disturbing trend.
“If you’re in your 20’s and 30’s and even early 40’s and you have some rectal bleeding, it’s something that should really…a light bulb should go off and see your primary care physician,” said Schechter.
