(WJAR) — A local surgeon is showing how the long tradition of art as a communication form can be used in the medical field.
Brown Surgical Associates’ Dr. Francois Luks, Pediatric Surgeon-In-Chief at Hasbro Children’s Hospital, has been using it for years and is now sharing what he’s learned with the masses. He recently spoke with Channel 10’s Barbara Morse about his new book “Med Speak Illuminated: The Art and Practice of Medical Illustration.”
