Dr. Aurora Pryor, Brown Surgical Associates’ new president and surgeon in chief and Rhode Island and The Miriam Hospitals, discussed her new role this week during an appearance on 12 News with anchor Kim Kalunian.
Dr. Pryor said one of her goals is to further enhance the patient experience – which includes easier access to care and incorporating the latest technology.
She also said her team is working on creating a call center for patients and also opening a clinic where emergency room patients who need surgery can more easily arrange surgical care.
Dr. Pryor discussed her specialty, including the latest options in weight loss surgery.
