Dr. Andrew Stephen, a surgeon with Brown Surgical Associates’ Trauma/Surgical Critical Care Division, will participate in an upcoming community conversation about the impact of impaired driving.
The event–entitled A Conversation About Impaired Driving, the Law, and a Call to Action–will take place at Smithfield High School on April 30, 2025 at 6 p.m. and is sponsored by the Tori Lynn Andreozzi Foundation. Tori’s life changed forever in 2003 when she was hit by a drunk driver and suffered a traumatic brain injury.
Dr. Stephen will discuss the medical impacts of impaired driving. Other speakers will cover highway safety, victim impact, legal aspects, law enforcement, prevention, and community resources.
The event is open to the public.
