For the past 30 years, William G. Cioffi, Jr., MD, has played a pivotal role in training hundreds of surgical residents, many of whom have become leaders, innovators, top researchers, and expert clinicians in their fields.
Brown Surgical Associates is hosting a festschrift in Dr. Cioffi’s honor on November 9, 2024, at the Warren Alpert Medical School. This academic “homecoming” will provide an opportunity for medical professionals to share their vision and achievements in cardiac transplantation, surgical oncology, tissue engineering, vascular surgery, trauma care, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and patient-centered care.
