Mary Wright was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital after she was hit by a car in a Seekonk parking lot on Jan. 2, 2020.
There she ended up in the capable hands of Dr. David Harrington, director of the hospital’s burn center and a trauma surgeon with Brown Surgical Associates.
Mary and Dr. Harrington spoke about Mary’s injury and her recovery during Rhode Island Hospital’s Day of Giving telethon, which recently aired on Channel 10.
“Dr. Harrington and his team saved my leg. I think if I lived anywhere else or were traveling, I would have lost my leg,” Wright said.
